They call August the dog days of summer, and we’ve got no problems with that. In Arizona, this month has all the hints of a new season just around the corner. Students of all ages are heading back to school and there is always time for brunch with your friends and family. And of course, you can bring your four-legged friends along too. They’re welcome on our dog-friendly patios and we even have a special Tail Wagger menu just for them.
Check out some other ways we’re keeping the summer vibes rolling this month.

In classic Morning Squeeze style, we want to be your friend with benedicts this weekend. We’re celebrating National Eggs Benedict Day on April 16 by offering a special Pulled Pork Benedict for the entire weekend.
This over-the-top bennie is loaded with ALL your favorite brunch flavors. It stacks apple juice and Jameson marinated pork and a honey, lime and pecan slaw on a cornbread base then tops it with that classic poached egg and a spicy BBQ Hollandaise sauce.
The Pulled Pork Benedict will be available at all Morning Squeeze locations from April 16 – 18 for $14. In addition to this limited time special, we’ve got three other benedicts that are always on our daily menu. All benedict plates come with a choice of potatoes, fruit or cottage cheese.
The Classic Benedict ($12) with Canadian bacon, poached egg and Hollandaise on an English muffin.
The vegetarian-friendly Cali Benedict ($13) with tomato, spinach, poached egg and Hollandaise on avocado halves.
The Salmon Benedict ($14) with arugula, smoked salmon, poached egg and chipotle Hollandaise on an English muffin.
Benedict Fun Facts
We’re sure you’ve pondered this after a mimosa or two… Just who can we thank for creating the Eggs Benedict? Was it the 19th Century Pope… an American traitor…. the Delmonico chef… or a stock broker with a hangover? Just about anyone with the famed egg name in the mid-1800s lays some claim to stacking an English muffin with ham and poached eggs then smothering it in Hollandaise sauce.
Delmonico’s Chef Charles Ranhoff says he created them for Ms. LeGrand Benedict.
Stockbroker Lemuel Benedict says he invented the dish at the Waldorf Hotel as a hangover cure.
Pope Benedict XIII is said to have liked a particular egg dish so much it was a regular morning meal.
Even American traitor Benedict Arnold tries to get into the action.
Get ready to raise a glass to the drink that’s as essential to brunch as bacon and eggs. On Thursday, May 16, we’ll be celebrating National Mimosa Day with $3.99 mimosa flights at our Scottsdale and Tempe locations.
As bright, bubbly and easy as a Sunday morning, the Mimosa is a classic breakfast cocktail made from equal parts orange juice and sparkling wine. Many believe the drink originated in Spain where both oranges and Cava sparkling wine were readily available. Named for the yellow and effervescent flowers of the mimosa plant, Mimosas now come in a rainbow of colors as bartenders put their own twist on the drink by using different fruit juices.
At Morning Squeeze, we think our mimosa flight does just that. It includes 4 oz servings of three Mimosa variations – traditional orange juice, pomegranate and hibiscus. The Mimosa Flight will be $3.99 on Thursday, May 16, 2019 only at both Morning Squeeze locations.
